As of CloudBlue Commerce 21.0, the Linux Qmail module is no longer supported, meaning that those who have the Linux Qmail module on their installations must prepare these installations for the upgrade.
Important: The upgrade will be stopped if there are Linux Qmail resources. You will be able to continue the upgrade as soon as you prepare your installation as described below.
Prepare your installation for the upgrade using one of the following scenarios:
- Scenario 1: You have customer mailboxes on your installation and you need to keep these mailboxes working for migration to another mail system. In this case, detach the Linux Qmail services from your installation by following the instructions in this article.
- Scenario 2: You do not have customer mailboxes on your installation or existing mailboxes are unused and can be removed. In this case, remove the Linux Qmail services, including all dependent items such as mailboxes and their contents, from your installation by following the instructions in this article.
Note: If the uninstallation of the mail_schema and openldap_server packages fails, use the instructions in this article to resolve this issue.
